Instant Tethered Capture

Instantly import and view images as you shoot with the world’s most advanced tethered capture solution. Adjust your camera exposure settings remotely, apply adjustments and multiple styles during capture and connect to an iPad, iPod Touch and iPhone using the Capture Pilot App or Capture Pilot for web.

Simply connect your digital back or supported Canon and Nikon DSLRs to a computer to view and examine your images on-screen, in close-up detail, to help make any adjustment choices easy to see. Using the Live View function can further speed up image composition, lighting or focus adjustments that need to be made. Live view is now also available for supported DSLRs.

Use Capture One Pro 10 as an integrated part of your capture process by shooting tethered, directly into the application. In the solution, you can view and examine your images instantly in close-up detail to help make any adjustment choices easy.

Additional Camera Controls

Additional controls added in Capture One Pro 10 are mirror position control (For supported cameras), flash mode and metering mode.

Easier to adjust in software than having to 'travel' to the camera, it therefore saves time and is more convenient if the camera is inaccessible.

Capture Pilot app

Use your iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch to wirelessly view, zoom and pan high resolution DSLR and medium format RAW, JPEG and TIFF images while you shoot and get instant feedback from clients and colleagues.

Capture Pilot web enabled

Access Capture Pilot like functionality in a web browser on another computer or Smartphone. It is an additional means of viewing and rating images for photographer or clients.

Anyone can now access Capture Pilot without the need to use a smartphone or tablet.  As long as you have a web browser enabled device - you can access. This avoids the 'monitor huddle' of multiple people. Also it could enable viewing of shooting sessions from remote locations, via the Internet.

Live View for selected DSLR

The Live View can help speed up image composition, lighting and focusing adjustments. This Digital Back function makes it possible for the photographer and others to easily view an image on a computer screen, in real-time. Previously this feature was available for MF cameras only, but now Live View is also available for supported 35mm DSLRs - and aids accurate composition and focusing.

Live View for supported DSLRs

Get Live View from supported DSLRs. Live View aids accurate composition and focusing.  A feature normally only available with MF cameras - now possible with selected 35mm DSLR (Canon/Nikon).

Importer

The Import Window allows you to immediately import images and videos. This task is made even easier as you can apply multiple styles to image files during import.  You can choose a naming system, add copyright information and image descriptions directly at import if desired

With Capture One Pro 10, you can now choose if you want to store your images within the catalog or reference files outside the catalog. Sessions, used in previous version of Capture One, are still supported.

Makes it possible to keep your catalog on your workstation and your images on external drives or servers.  This way there are no storage limitations for larger image databases.  Plus offline browsing is then made possible - see below for specific details.
